Seller's Description
Miles Mason tea-service trio with the "Broseley" pattern and Greek Key gilding.
Made c. 1805 - 1810.
Consists of one Tea Bowl, one Coffee Can and one Saucer.
Tea Bowl.
Gilding almost perfect.
Has two hair-line cracks to the rim (see photo 5).
Height. 2 inches.
Rim dia. 3.5 inches.
Coffee Can.
Gilding almost perfect, even to handle and rim.
Transfer a bit pale in places.
Nice clear "ring" when tapped.
Height. 2.5 inches.
Rim dia. 2.75 inches.
Saucer.
Slight loss to gilding.
A few small inclusions under the glaze.
Nice clear "ring" when tapped.
Dia. 5.25 inches.
These were part of a wedding present to my aunt in 1948 and there has been no restoration or repairs made since that date.
