Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1979 Alain Tanner Drama MESSIDOR starring Clémentine Amouroux and Catherine Rétoré.
Two young women from very different backgrounds journey into the countryside seeking respite from unsatisfactory lives and relationships, but ultimately find that there is no way back to the world they once knew.
Poster art by Rene Ferracci (1927 -1982). A French artistic director and poster designer. He is, with Clément Hurel, Boris Grinsson, Michel Landi and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of cinema posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.
The poster is in very good folded condition with extra fold lines.
