Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1977 Moustapha Akkad Islamic War Drama THE MESSAGE starring Anthony Quinn, Irene Papas, Michael Ansara, Johnny Sekka and Michael Forest.

The film follows Muhammad starting with Islam's beginnings in Mecca in which the first Muslims are persecuted for their beliefs, the exodus to Medina, and ending with the Muslims' triumphant return to Mecca.

Brian Bysouth was born in London in 1936 and attended Willesden Art School as a junior. He joined Downtons agency in the late 1950s where his first accepted film art was for “Tiger Bay”. Apart from a short break with another agency he stayed with Downtons until 1973 when he went freelance. In 1983 he joined Feref Associates where he stayed till his retirement in 2002. In his 40 odd year career he has produced some of the most iconic film posters, from the initial “Tiger Bay” to “Cromwell”,
