Mercury tilt switch recovered from 1960s amusement arcade machine - used (5574)

I recovered a number of mercury tilt switches from amusement arcade machines that were being scrapped in Blackpool in the 1970s, in some cases part of the original mechanism is still attached. Porcelain insulators are used to sheath the cables. See photo for size and more information. In total there are 18 switches available.

Ideally the buyer would collect because this is a glass tube containing mercury. I am happy to pack it in a suitable amount of appropriate packing material then send it via the buyer's preferred method. Sending will be at buyer's risk. No returns. Payment by BACS transfer or cash on collection. Can be viewed in Lancaster, approximately 3 miles from junction 33 of the M6.

I have a number of mercury switches available, these are rare items that don't get offered for sale often. Feel free to make offers, I would like these items to go to someone who appreciates what they are and has a serious use for them.
