McCalls Woman's Day Exclusive Children's Sewing Pattern. This pattern can be used to make a Girl's Dress in sizes 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
The pattern is uncut and factory folded.

It is a single sheet of paper (Newsprint weight) with the pattern pieces and instructions printer on both sides. You would have to trace the pattern out to use it. The pattern has no envelope.

I believe this pattern was included in an issue of the Woman's Day Magazine. Sorry I do not know the date of the pattern or magazine.

Before You Begin

Notice the multiple pattern outlines are numbered for Children's sizes 2 through 6. To determine your child's size, measure around her chest and add 5" to this measurement for dress. Using the finished garment measurements listed on BODICE FRONT (1) pattern piece, select the size nearest this measurement.

Each pattern piece already includes the 5/8" seam allowances. To achieve an even seam allowance, use a seam guide (available at sewing machine shops) set to the right width from needle or place a piece of adhesive tape 5/8" from needle on the machine base and guide your fabric along edge of tape.

Since the patterns are printed back to back, DON'T CUT THEM OUT WITHOUT TRACING THIS SIDE. Use carbon paper to trace the pattern pieces on paper OR use a commercial product designed for tracing patterns, INCLUDING ALL MARKINGS. You can cut out patterns on the other side. See sewing directions on SKIRT (5) pattern piece.

NOTIONS: Thread, 14" Zipper, 2 Yds. of 1-1/4" Wide Satin Ribbon (Opt. for Sash); Dress A - 1 Two-piece Lace or Eyelet Collar (Opt.), 1/2 Yd. of 1/4" Wide elastic; Dress B - 1-1/8 Yds. of 1/8" Wide Piping (Opt.).
