McCall's sewing pattern M8280, for Misses' dresses. This pattern is new, but the design is a reissue of an original 1950s design.
Difficulty Rating: Average.
1950s Vintage reissue sewing pattern. Views A and B have a fitted sweetheart bodice with tiered gathered shirt. Dresses include sew-in shoulder sash that can be tied multiple ways. View B has contrast for print mixing or colour blocking.
FABRICS: Gingham, Cotton Blends, Shantung, Taffeta. Lining: Lining Fabrics. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.
NOTIONS: A, B: One 16" (41 cm) zipper, 11/4 yds. (1.2 m) (1.2m) of ½" wide grosgrain ribbon, 7/8 yd. (0.8 m) (0.8m) of ¼" covered boning, 1" (2.5 cm) slide buckle, skirt hook and bar closure
