MARK ANTONY.
The story of Mark Antony, Roman politician, general, and lover of the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, has fascinated generations of people for hundreds of years, and numerous books and films have portrayed their love affair.
I too have been captivated by the legend of this well known love story and so I have created my own miniature hand crafted version of Mark Antony.
He stands approx. six inches tall and is cast by me, from fine quality bisque porcelain in a tanned skin tone and has dark brown hair.
I have dressed him in a deep red tunic, over-laid with mini leopard faux fur and real leather, embellished with golden braid and jewelled filigrees.
A silk cloak trimmed with gold braid, is fixed to his shoulders with golden jewelled ‘brooches’.
Under his tunic he wears a simple cotton loin cloth, and on his feet are real leather sandals.
Mark Antony stands approx six inches tall.
This doll has an all-porcelain body, jointed at the head, shoulders and hips.
This doll is an ornament intended for adult collectors and should not be given to children to play with.
