Original German 23 inch x 33 inch Poster for the 1963 Henry Koster Documentary MARILYN narrated by Rock Hudson and featuring Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, Cyd Charisse, Dean Martin, Charles Coburn and Tom Ewell.
Rock Hudson narrates a compilation of clips from Marilyn Monroe's 20th Century-Fox movies. The documentary traces Monroe's early studio beginnings as a bit player in "A Ticket to Tomahawk" to her final screen moments in the unfinished "Something's Got to Give."
Poster art by Bruno Rehak (1910 - 1977). A German painter and graphic artist. Born in Frankfurt am Main, Rehak graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. His first film posters appeared in 1935 and continued into the 1970s. Titles include “Rancho Notorious” (1952), “Frankenstein” (1957 release), “The Big Steal” (1955 release), “The Glenn Miller Story” (1954).
The poster is in good to very good folded condition with a few short cross fold tears and edge nicks repaired from the reverse with clear tape.
