Original 1961 Polish 23 inch x 31 1/4 inch Poster for the 1960 Bert Haanstra Belgian/Dutch Romantic Comedy THE MANNEKEN PIS CASE (DE ZAAK M.P.) starring Albert Mol, Ko van Djik, Ingrid Valerius, Mieke Verstraete and Julia de Gruyter.
In 1960, Haanstra released his second feature film, The M.P. Case, a comedy in which a student steals the statue of Manneken Pis, a Belgian national icon, after the annual soccer match between Holland and Belgium, triggering a wave of national rivalry.
Poster art by Eryk Lipinski (1908 - 1991). Eryk Lipinski was a Polish artist, satirist, caricaturist, essayist, he has designed posters, written plays and sketches for cabarets, as well as written books on related subjects.
The poster is in very good condition with a short tear at the bottom edge. The poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
