Ashton Station 1975, Bus to Stalybridge, Large Photo
Description: This is a Large 11"" inch x 8"" inch photo of a 1969 Greater Manchester Transprt liveried Leyland Atlantean bus, fleet number 5463, registration plate VTE 163H, route number 218 and destination board 'Stalybridge Bus Station', and seen here at stand 'G' at the old original Ashton-under-lyne bus station in 1975. Several passengers can be seen in the bus station along with a man in bowler hat and an old lady with handbag, as can the council flats which were standing just beyond the bus station and can be seen in the background.
