macOS 10.10 Yosemite installation USB Flash drive

This listing is for a basic MacOS installer which is meant to be used to install or upgrade compatible Appple systems. Apple formally notes that OS X Yosemite runs on the following Mac categories:

• iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
• MacBook (13" Late 2008 Aluminum, Early 2009 or later)
• MacBook Pro (13" Mid-2009 or later)
• MacBook Pro (15" Mid/Late 2007 or later)
• MacBook Pro (17" Late 2007 or later)
• MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
• Mac mini (Early 2009 or later)
• Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
• Xserve (Early 2009)

In addition, this flash drive can also be used to as the basis for installing MacOS on non-traditional Apple hardware as a Hackintosh system.  If you intend to install on non-apple systems, you are required to do your own research to determine if the installation is even possible on the intended target and how to go about it.

What we provide:

• 8GB USB flash drive with MacOS installed and ready to go
• Basic instructions for installing MacOS on a Apple Mac system if requested

What we do not provide:

• Support or extra software to allow MacOS to be installed on any other system(s) then those already mentioned.

The most common reasons that the installation will fail is that the software is not compatible with the system it is attempted to be installed on or because of faulty hardware such as a hard disk that is going bad. Please take some time to ensure that you know the year your system was manufactured and rather than spending endless amounts of time trying to install on a bad disk test and ensure the disk is still functional to proceed with the installation. 

The flash drives are usually Sandisk, but the type, size and condition may vary depending on stock at the time.
