As this version of macOS X is older, it is harder to find any useful informaiton on what systems it is compatiable with so if you are lookig at purhacing, you should know that it will work on the system you are purchasing it to install on.
This listing is for a basic MacOS installer which is meant to be used to install or upgrade compatible Apple systems. Mac OS X Puma 10.1:
In addition, this DVD can also be used to as the basis for installing MacOS on non-traditional Apple hardware as a Hackintosh system. If you intend to install on non-apple systems, you are required to do your own research to determine if the installation is even possible on the intended target and how to go about it.
What we provide:
- DVD with MacOS installed and ready to go
- Basic instructions for installing MacOS on a Apple Mac system if requested.
What we do not provide:
- Support or extra software to allow MacOS to be installed on any other system(s) then those already mentioned.
The most common reasons that the installation will fail is that the software is not compatible with the system it is attempted to be installed on or because of faulty hardware such as a hard disk that is going bad. Please take some time to ensure that you know the year your system was manufactured and rather than spending endless amounts of time trying to install on a bad disk test and ensure the disk is still functional to proceed with the installation.
The DVD's are new but the type may vary depending on stock at the time.
There will be no label or any type of identification on the DVD.
