Original 1974 Polish 23 inch x 31 1/4 inch Poster for the 1973 Mikhail Bogin Russian Drama LOOKING FOR A MAN (ISHCHU CHELOVEKA ), based on a story by Agniya Barto and starring Ivan Grigorievitch, Oleg Zhakov, Valentina Dmitrievna, Rimma Manukovskaya and Lyudmila Antonyuk.

The film is based on true stories about separation and meetings, about the search for loved ones, which continued many years after the Second World War

The poster art is by Jakub Erol (1941 - 2018). Born in Zamosc, Poland, Erol was a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He did his diploma under the guidance of Professor Henryk Tomaszewski. He has produced posters, theatre set designs and book illustration. Winner of numerous awards for his poster designs.

The poster is in good to very good condition with a one or two short edge tears and a small piece out of the top edge. The poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
