  • Notes / condition:  - has had some paper attached to the back with a message as well as some general wear, certainly not prostne but acceptable and an interesting piece of local history. Size is just a bit bigger than the 'modern' size.

The Black Friar is a Grade II* listed public house at 174 Queen Victoria Street, Blackfriars, London.[1][2]

It was built in about 1875, and remodelled in about 1905 by the architect Herbert Fuller-Clark. Much of the internal decoration was done by the sculptor Henry Poole.[1]

It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.[3]
