Seller's Description
London’s Railways – Map and List of Stations (1973)
- Era: 1973
- Pages: 2 Sides – folds into 24 panels
- Size: 15.5cm tall x 7cm wide x 5mm thick when folded or 43.5cm tall x 54.5cm wide when unfolded
- Weight: 26 g
- Condition: Although in a bad state of repair, this map has character to it! Sellotape has been placed over each edges and folds to strengthen these. Some writing and drawing on map. See images for present condition.
- General Comments: In the 1970’s, this was what you needed to navigate London by train or underground. It has a colourful London rail map on one side and a black and white underground map on the other side. Stations are listed and can be indexed via a grid system. Would be useful for a film prop or to use in an art collage or just by anyone curious about the history of train/underground routes in the past. If you are trying to get this map for your collection, it could prove a low-cost place holder until you can find a better quality one.
