Loaded Chrome Control Plate (seconds) for Fender Telecaster Tele guitar harness

Controls old and tired, rough and crackling? This is a fully loaded and wired heavily chromed control plate fitted with two 500K Ohm Logarithmic (audio taper A500K) potentiometers with split / splined shafts suitable for use for Fender Stratocaster guitars, with a green Mylar 47nF tone capacitor and a three way switch prewired for fitting.

These control plates are factory seconds and may have some slight scratching to the chrome face plate but at this price are well worth it as they include two brand new pots, switch, tone control cap and new chromed metal knobs.

Easier than fitting new pots by far!

Please note that, unlike some Tele wiring diagrams for an import style switch like the one used on this plate, the outer switch terminals on each end of the switch are joined together, and this is where each "hot" pickup lead should be soldered on, one at each end of the switch if you want the traditional Bridge/both/Neck pickup switching option. 

In order to make the centre mix position work on versions with 7 or 8 switch tags, you just need to check, and if not already fitted link/solder the outer two terminals on each side of the switch together (in other words the hot leads are soldered not just to each end position, but also to the next terminal in on each side so each end pair are connected to the PU hot wire (note that this is NOT necessary on some recent stock which has only three switch tags as this connection is made internally). 

These plates are 160mm long by 32mm wide.
