Description: Large approx 11" inch x 8" inch photo of a classic old six-wheeler bus leaving the old Southern Bus Station in Doncaster in 1970.
The bus is a 1964 Leon Motors (of Finningly), Willowbrook bodied Bedford VAL 14, route 74, destination 'Doncaster & Root', Registration KCN12J, fleet number 2712, and seen here about to enter the turn-right lane in Park Lane, which is now a pedestrianised precinct.
A wonderful busy street photograph of a bygone era in Sunderland.
