BLEMISHED - COSMOS – compote BOWL ONLY – LEFTON
This BLEMISHED piece is a COSMOS COMPOTE BOWL ONLY - NO PEDESTAL by the famous LEFTON COMPANY. This is decorated with lovely floral arrangements of pink, blue, yellow and purple flowers with green leaves. It is accented with sponged gold (some in a lattice design). This compote BOWL is approximately 7 ½” across.
This has the blue and gold Lefton crown used 1956 – 1967 and the number 1083 on the bottom.
This BOWL appears to be in fair condition as I can find no gold loss, chips or crazing but there is a crack. The crack is so faint I can't get it to show but it is on the right side of the holes in the picture of the bottom and on the left side of the holes in the picture where part of the bowl is cut off.
