Original 1893 7 inch x 10 1/8 inch Tinted Engraving titled LEAVING THE HILLS.
A shepherd herding his sheep into a field. The setting sun beats down on the animals highlighting their fluffy winter coats.
After Joseph Farquharson (1846 - 1935). A Scottish painter, chiefly of landscapes, mostly in Scotland and very often including animals. He is most famous for his snowy winter landscapes, often featuring sheep and often depicting dawn or dusk.
