Sepia real photographic postcard showing a view of the French submarine Montgolfier in November 1918, moored near the Pont de la Concorde in Paris. The visit took place from the end of October 1918 to the 1st of January 1919 and was intended to convince the populace to subscribe to the Loan of Liberation. Subscribers were allowed to visit the deck of the submarine.

Postally unused, but with lengthy message, dated 12 January 1919.
Good condition, with some corner bumps, but crease to bottom right corner and small creases to top right and bottom left corners.
