Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1971 Marcel Carné Thriller THE LAW BREAKERS (LES ASSASSINS DE L’ORDRE), based on the book by Jean Laborde and starring Jacques Brel, Catherine Rouvel, Paola Pitagora, Charles Denner and Michael Lonsdale.
A judge investigating police corruption finds that the deeper he digs, the more roadblocks he finds.
Poster art by Rene Ferracci (1927 -1982). A French artistic director and poster designer. He is, with Clément Hurel, Boris Grinsson, Michel Landi and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of cinema posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.
The poster is in very good folded condition. There is a tiny "6/71 Depot legal 71/2" and "30866" at the bottom of the poster which means that this poster is from the first release in 1971, and that this is the second time the poster was printed.
