Seller's Description

Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1977 Robert Benton Thriller THE LATE SHOW starring Art Carney, Lily Tomlin, Bill Macy, Joanna Cassidy, Ruth Nelson, Howard Duff, Eugene Roche, John Considine and John Davey.

Benton directs this excellent, appealing homage to the detective genre starring Carney as the world-weary, limping old private eye investigating the death of his partner with bthe help of the wise-cracking Tomlin. Benton’s complicated and engaging tale hits the right balance between wry humour and thrills and doesn’t forget the touch of pathos at the core of the best detective movies.

Poster art by Richard Amsel (1947 - 1985). An American illustrator and graphic designer. His career was prolific, including movie posters, album covers, and magazine covers

The poster is in very good folded condition.
