There's plenty of material to make up to 12 different casts for a tiny newborn baby, or 3-4 casts for a child up to around 6 years or 2-3 for a small adult!

Whether you are using this kit for a newborn baby, or for older children, it's a great way to capture their little hands and feet before they grow to be much bigger than us!  And when your children are older, you will have something tangible to show them just how small & cute their hands and feet once were!  :-)

The casting kit contains plenty of dental, high grade colour change (chromatic) alginate impression powder - which is totally safe for use on your baby as the alginate's main ingredient is seaweed!  (Dentists use this exact same alginate in their patient's mouths, it conforms to British safety standards BS 4269 Pt.:1991 & ISO 1563:1990).

The casting kit comprises of the following:

• 1kg colour change (chromatic) dental grade Alginate
  
• 1kg High Grade Casting Plaster
• Metallic Bronze Paint (we sell these kits with different colour paints, please check out our other items.  You can paint your casts any colour you like, a trip to the DIY/craft store for alternative colours is all that's needed!)
• Artists Paintbrush
• 6 polybags and 2 plastic cups (suitable for use on a newborn, for larger limbs you will need a suitable sized container such as a margarine tub or large drinking vessel etc)
• Cocktail sticks
• And of course, easy to follow instructions!

Packing:  the item is gift packed into a nice, sturdy box.  It is perfectly packaged for either a treat for yourself or a gift for another.
