LADY ROSE AT THE ROYAL ASCOT BALL is a unique, hand-numbered fugurine from the strictly limited edition of 12,500 (THIS IS NUMBER 1553) fine bone china figurines in the 'LA BELLE EPOGUE' series, created by Coalport.

An elegant 8.1/4" high, 'Lady Rose' is a tribute to the unique skill of Coalport's craftsmen - and a glowing testament to the beauty and romance of a bygone age.

Decorated with eight handmade 'la France' roses, adorned in 22 carat gold and sculpted by celebrated artist Maureen Halson

This figure was purchased by me in 1993, I have all the documentation that went with her purchase, including the receipts for monthly payments. The original cost price was £148.00. (paid for by monthly instalments of £18.50)

There is a full-colour, fold-out glossy brochure along with a 3 page letter from Compton & Woodhouse invitation letter.

But the most important document is the Certificate of Authenticity which is also included.

Compton & Woodhouse were the company that comissioned and sold the figurine, which was made by Coalpost
