Original 10 inch x 8 inch Still of FRANCOT TONE & GRACE MOORE in the 1936 Josef von Sternberg Romantic Musical THE KING STEPS OUT, based on the play by Ernst Decsey.
The King Steps Out is based on the early years of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, known as "Sisi" or "Sissi", and her courtship and marriage to Franz Joseph I of Austria, after he was initially engaged to her older sister Duchess Helene in Bavaria.
The still is in very good condition with tiny pieces out of the top corners.
