Original 1966 Re-Release Italian 39 inch x 55 inch 2-Fogli Poster for the 1949 Robert Hamer Black Comedy KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS, based on the novel by Roy Horniman and starring Dennis Price, Valerie Hobson, Joan Greenwood, Alec Guinness, Audrey Fildes, Miles Malleson, Clive Morton, John Penrose, Cecil Ramage, Hugh Griffith, John Salew, Arthur Lowe, Peter Gawthorne, Jeremy Spenser, Carol White, Laurence Naismith, Richard Wattis and Harold Young.

Third and finest of the 1949 classic Ealing comedies and in some respects the apotheosis of Ealing’s output. Dennis Price never bettered his part of a fringe member of a titled family murdering his way to dukedom, while Alec Guinness gives a tour de force as all eight of the crumbling aristocrat victims.

The poster art is by Renato Casaro (born 1935). Casaro is considered to be one of the most important, influential and innovative Italian's film poster artists producing hundreds of works dedicated to the cinema. In 1953, at the age of 18, he joined Studio Favalli, a famous design and art studio in Rome. Three years later he opened his own studio. In 1965 Dino De Laurentiis hired Casaro to design the poster images for the film The Bible: In the Beginning and he went on to design several more posters for De Laurentiis. His career then blossomed working for several different directors and film companies.
