Hi there,
I am a guitar repairer and luthier based in Aberdeen. Here are a selection of new finished/ unfinished necks and bodies you can purchase to build your ULTIMATE Custom Axe.
Any questions just give me a shout.....
I was looking at some of my stock in the workshop and thought "there is no way I am going to build with all of this...."
So I've decided to sell off some of the bodies, necks, fretboards etc. (remember I also make pickups and have a good selection of hardware available).
Please remember I DON'T have a CNC machine do all my bodies are hand made using knives, saws, spokeshaves, routers and sandpaper..... THEY ARE NOT 100% PERFECT.. THEY'RE HAND MADE.....
Lets get the ball rolling with a body I just finished? yesterday. They still need fine sanding before staining.
A 2 piece swamp ash Strat style body, front routed for 3 single pickups and a tremolo, nice pieces of wood and a good match.
Weight is 2.66 kilo/ 5lb 12 oz?
Neck pocket - 55.6mm
There was a chip came out of it on the under edge, you cannot notice it now but it is a slightly different shape. Also a knot at the rear face but I have filled it in and smoothed down.
