Hi there,
I am a guitar repairer and luthier based in Aberdeen. Here are a selection of new finished/ unfinished necks and bodies you can purchase to build your ULTIMATE Custom Axe.
Any questions just give me a shout.....
I was looking at some of my stock in the workshop and thought "there is no way I am going to build with all of this...."
So I've decided to sell off some of the bodies, necks, fretboards etc. (remember I also make pickups and have a good selection of hardware available).
Please remember I DON'T have a CNC machine do all my bodies are hand made using knives, saws, spokeshaves, routers and sandpaper..... THEY ARE NOT 100% PERFECT.. THEY'RE HAND MADE.....
A 2 piece Alder body this time a Jazz Bass shape, front route with 2 pickups. A good match with the wood should you decide on a natural wood finish. A few knots appeared when routing but they add character to the more plain Alder grain.
Weight is 2.16 kilo.
Neck pocket - 63.3mm
Still to be done is - a heavy sand of the body including all edges and contours before staining etc.
