This Stamp plus a number of others from individual states eg Kelantan and Johore are listed in Federated Malay States. They might sell better if they were listed in Malayan States.

Hi Tony, Thanks for the email. I suspect they were listed a while ago before eBid updated the categories. I'll take a look and update the categories. Thanks for letting me know, managing over 30,000 lots on eBid can be quite a job! Kind Regards Mark

Hi, I have just checked these out. The problem is that eBid don't split out all of the states etc so you have to combine these under "Malaysia". The best way to look for them is to just search for the state name i.e. "Kelantan" or "Johore" etc. Kind Regards Mark

But not under Federated Malay States. FMS ceased issuing stamps in 1935. Although eBid do not split states it does have a category "Malayan States". Best wishes Tony

Hi Tony, Yes, I see what you mean. Unfortunately I have around 200 FMS stamps and there is no easy way of telling which are in the eBid category Mayalan States (FMS) and which are not. If they had a bulk editing tool I could sort this out easily. Currently it would involve hours of manual editing. If I get time I'll see what I can do. Meanwhile, if you visit my shop and select the Malaysia & States section, everything is in alphabetical order so all the FMS stamps are grouped together anyway. Kind Regards Mark
