The book measures approximately 16.5cm by 24cm and contains 584 pages with a facsimile letter frontis and two glossy sections of B&W photographic photographs and illustrations within the text block.
There are numerous small doodles by Betjeman accompanying some letters.
Good general condition, page toning due to perid paper stock.
The un-price clipped dust jacket is partly sun faded. It now has a plasic protective cover.
