JAWS inspired Radio Control Boat

Radio controlled model boat inspired by the 1975 film Jaws. Built in 2016 using detail from 3 sets of plans and then some input of our own. From the outset the intention was inspiration not to be exact but to get close to the Orca look, very close. She is about 1.14 scale and is 41 inches from head to tail or pulpit to stern and named Amity after the Island in the film.

Amity has many details and discreet nods to the film. She sails like a dream and is water tight. Constructed of wood and using mny recycled materials too.

Research was undertaken to decide the best motor to provide a realistic power source. She has a brushless motor, speed controller and digital servo. Engine sound effect which adjusts according to motor speed, sounds and dialogue from the film. Lights too. There is no interior as this was used for components.

Radio transmitter 14 channel stick model, batteries and other spare parts included.

Because of the size and fragile nature Amity is collection only.

I shall consider reasonable offers, I accept you rarely recover the investment. The true investment was the time and joy my friend and I shared during Amitys construction.

On the water Amity looks the part. People say look its the boat from Jaws. I say she was inspired by Jaws.
