A refined and impressive '90' rated effort from Don Pepin Garcia. Released in 2010, Jaime Garcia blew most enthusiasts away with its medium to full-bodied array of complex flavors and its super-rich finish. Blended by the son of master cigar roller Don Pepin Garcia, Jaime Garcia could be the best cigar to come out of the Pepin Garcia camp. Like their slogan states, Don Pepin cigars are “the art, tradition and style of Cuba.” All cigars bearing the Pepin and Jaime's name incorporate traditional Cuban characteristics, from the entubado style bunching (folding the filler tobaccos in an accordion fashion) to the triple caps used at the head of each cigar. These traditional Cuban methods employed by Pepin enable his cigars to burn and combust perfectly, which in turn creates intense amounts of complexity followed by a smooth and enjoyably long finish. Most Pepin blends are medium to full-bodied and fail to disappoint even the most discerning aficionados. This blend comes packed full of select Nicaraguan long leaves, all masked with a hearty Nicaraguan binder. The recipe alone screams "full-bodied," but this cigar comes with a truly unique smoothness that lasts through the finish; it's perfectly balanced. Outside, you'll find a premium Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper that leaves a light, sweet note on your palate while producing thick, creamy smoke. A cigar box is a box container for cigar packaging. Traditionally cigar boxes have been made of wood, cardboard or paper. Spanish cedar has been described as the "best" kind of wood for cigar boxes because of its beautiful grain, fine texture, and pleasant odor and ability to keep out insects.
