This gorgeous lace has a scalloped edge that ismore like a swag in shape. The open work edge should be on the bottom with the flowers facing up. Thin ribbon can be weaved through the open work edge to create another dimension of color. Very versatile lace.
Leaver lace is a mechanical lace that imitates embroidered lace. It looks slender and thin. And also, it is famous for the name “Rolls-Royce of lace”. It is a Lima lace machine developed in 1813 by the Englishman John Leaver.
Great for night clothes, dress trim or hat making.
