Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the European Premiere of the 1968 Karel Reisz Drama ISADORA starring Vanessa Redgrave, James Fox, Jason Robards, Ivan Tchenko, John Fraser, Bessie Love, Cynthia Harris, Libby Glenn, Tony Vogel, Wallas Eaton and John Quentin.
The movie was adapted by Melvyn Bragg, Margaret Drabble and Clive Exton from the books “My Life” by Isadora and “Isadora, an Intimate Portrait” by Sewell Stokes.

A biography of the dancer Isadora Duncan, the 1920s dancer who forever changed people's ideas of ballet. Her nude, semi-nude, and pro-Soviet dance projects as well as her attitudes on free love, debt, dress, and lifestyle shocked the public of her time.

Poster art by Renato Fratini (1932 - 1973). An Italian commercial artist who specialised in cinema posters. In Italy he worked in Augusto Favalli’s studio, a major producer of Italian posters. He then moved to London at the behest of Eric Pulford, who ran the Downton agency, which had accounts with Rank and several other film companies. There Fratini enjoyed a successful career throughout the 1960s.

The poster is in very good condition with 2 vertical and 1 horizontal fold lines. Has been stored flat so will ship in gorilla proof tube.
