Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1962 David Swift Drama THE INTERNS, based on the novel by Richard Frede and starring Michael Callan, Cliff Robertson, James MacArthur, Nick Adams, Suzy Parker, Haya Harareet, Anne Helm, Stefanie Powers, Buddy Ebsen and Telly Savalas.

Medical drama that focuses on the personal and professional conflicts of medical interns working under senior surgeons at a major hospital.

Poster art by Howard Terpning. Howard Terpning was born November 5, 1927, in Oak Park, Illinois. He is an American painter and illustrator best known for his paintings of Native Americans. He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the American Academy of Art in Chicago. In 1962, he began working as a freelance artist creating magazine covers, story illustrations and advertising art for publications such as Reader's Digest, Time and Newsweek. In addition Terpning completed over 80 movie posters starting with The Guns of Navarone in 1961. Other examples include Cleopatra, Doctor Zhivago, The Sound of Music, The Sand Pebbles, and the 1967 re-release of Gone with the Wind.
