Original French 11 inch x 15 1/4 inch page with printed photograph and map titled EN MACEDONIE SERBE
The photograph is titled “A flooded Macedonian road, between the railroad and the Vardar”.
The map is titled “The French front of the Tcherna on November 20”.
Serbia was defeated during the autumn 1915 phase of the Serbian Campaign, prompting France and Britain to transfer troops from the Gallipoli Campaign to Greek Macedonia. The Macedonian front was thus established in an effort to support the remnants of the Serbian army to conquer Vardar Macedonia.
