Imperial double coil spring washers, also known as thackery washers. The size stated is the internal diameter.
BS 1802 Type D.
Sizes available; 3/16" / 2BA, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2" and 9/16".
2BA and 3/16" are the same.
Unfortunately the UK's one and only manufacturer of these has retired, so they are not available anymore. Once they are gone, they are gone. These are not being made in the far east either, only metric equivalents.
Bright Zinc plated or self-colour available.
Also used on classic motorcycles.
Made in Britain, all our nuts and bolts are British Made.
