IBC ADAPTER (S60X6 coarse thread) to Nylon Lever Tap with 1/2" Barbed Hose Tail

This is an IBC adapter with a NYLON lever tap and 1/2"  hose tail.

1. The Tap is made from incredibly strong Nylon
2. Easy On / Off Lever action.  Also good for flow control
3. The IBC adapter has an S60X6 coarse 2" thread suitable for the majority of IBC containers
4. The Tap output consists of a 3/4" BSP thread onto which a 1/2" Barbed hose tail is attached
5. The hose tail is suitable for standard 1/2" (ID) garden hose (can be removed and replaced with alternative tap fittings)
6. Highly resistant to tarnishing or corrosion
7. The Nylon body provides a greater degree of frost protection than a brass tap

Will it fit my tank?

It will fit most standard UK and European IBC containers where the buttress thread is a coarse S60X6 thread. An S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60 mm across from thread edge to thread edge and has a 6 mm pitch (distance between the threads).

If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20% are not) you can purchase a Buttress Thread Converter which will convert the thread to the S60X6 you will require.  If you know the measurements of your buttress thread take a look at the “Buttress Thread Converters” Category which you can access from the home page.  If you are not sure send us a message and we will try to point you in the right direction.
