Original Polish 22 3/4 inch x 32 1/2 inch Poster for the 1974 Roman Zaluski Polish Drama HOUR AFTER HOUR (GODZINA ZA GODZINA), based on the novel by Andrzej Twerdochlib and starring Aleksander Iwaniec, Zygmunt Malawski, Barbara Brylska, Joanna Jedryka and Irena Karel.

30-year old Tadeusz works as a driver in a transportation depot, at the same time writing short stories based on his own life experience. Continuous work away from home has a negative impact on his family life. The man is practically absent from the everyday life of his wife and son, soon becoming an intruder in his own house. During one of his trips, he meets his old friends from the university. His literary ambition pushed him to quit studying. He realizes that he cannot keep juggling the roles of driver, writer, husband and father. He must choose something. When travelling with an older and disliked colleague, Tadeusz decides to take an illegal fare, which may end tragically..

Poster art by Marek Freudenreich. Freudenreich was born in Poznan in 1939. He graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts studying under Henryk Tomaszewski.

The poster is very good condition. The poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
