It represents a scene taken from antiquity, i.e., two warriors standing on a chariot drawn by horses, with the Parthenon as background. This horse drawn carriage is framed in pinchbeck, a metal invented by Christopher Pinchbeck to simulate gold.
It features a push type fastener on the reverse and is in excellent undamaged condition
