Herbert von Karajan - DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON 2561 408 - “Der Grosse Bildband - Limitierte Jubiläumsausgabe zum 75 Geburtstag”. The book, record and matching gatefold jacket are in near mint condition. The outer box has some corner and edge wear/some corner damage. A rare limited edition 144 page, hard cover, color picture book with record (Tchaikovsky: Romeo & Juliet / Nutcracker Suite) issued for Karajan’s 75th birthday. The number on the back of the book’s dust jacket is given as 00101. I do not know how many of these books were actually made or even if this number means anything. However this is obviously a rare, beautiful book for any Karajan fan.
