Printed colour chromolitho intermediate-size postcard showing an illustration of the American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow alongside his home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the former headquarters of George Washington.
Published by Blum & Degen, London, not numbered, undivided back.
Postally unused, but with message, dated 26 November 1899, comprising of a quote from Longfellow's poem The Children's Hour and addressed to Miss Cousland, 17 Jordan Lane, Edinburgh, also with a drawing of a "long fellow" in the stamp box.
Very good condition, with very slight corner bumps.
