The Acorn Heavy Duty stairlift is highly robust machine, perfect for users of up to 25 stone (158kg) thanks to it's upgraded internal components which include heavy duty batteries.

The heavy duty version is equipped with the very same features as the Acorn 130 Stairlift, however it's upgraded in areas to allow the stairlift to be more robust which increases the weight capacity. The heavy duty version features adjustable arm width also.

The Acorn Heavy Duty stairlift is very simple to use, offers low maintenance and is regarded as one of the most reliable stairlifts on the market. It can be installed on a variety of straight staircases due to it's neat, compact design and slim, tailored track which can be installed on the left or right hand side of the stairs.

It offers a comfortable ride along the stairs due to its quiet and smooth operation, comfortable upholstery and soft stop and start function.

The Heavy Duty Stairlift dimensions:

Simple Controls

Light pressure on the arm controls will gently move the stairlift along the stairs. Controls are placed on both arms on this model.

Remote Controls

You can call and send the stairlift up and down the staircase with the wireless remote controls. This can be handy when 2 or more people use the stairlift.

Safety Belt

The safety belt can be used for extra security along the staircase. It neatly retracts away after use.

Fold Up

The arms, foot plate and seat can be folded up against the wall to create space when the stairlift is not required.

Display screen

The screen provides information on the stairlifts current performance.

Safety Edges

The safety edge sensors are located around the foot plate and carriage sides. They stop the stairlift automatically if an obstructions occurs.

Key Lock

The key enables you to deactivate and lock the Acorn Heavy Duty Stairlift when required.
