Pictured, is an exquisite, handmade table, piano, or bureau runner. Crocheted with cotton thread, this is not a manufactured crochet piece; it was hand crocheted in the mid 1900’s or earlier. Made during a time when crocheting. knitting and home canning were commonplace, this is the intricate piece-work of our ancestors and our heritage.
The runner is off-white and is 34 inches long, 14 inches wide, and in excellent condition. There are no stains or other imperfections that we are able to identify. Lovely on a hardwood surface, as shown!
