Original British 11 inch x 8 3/8 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1956 Robert Day Comedy THE GREEN MAN, based on the play “Meet A Body” by Frank Launder & Sidney Gilliat and starring Alastair Sim, George Cole, Jill Adams, Terry-Thomas, John Chandos, Raymond Huntley, Avril Angers, Dora Bryan and Arthur Lowe.
A ruthless assassin plans to blow up a Cabinet minister when the latter has an illicit affair at the Green Man hotel, but his plans are discovered and eventually foiled by a vacuum cleaner salesman.
