Seller's Description
Photographic memento of 17290 Private Alexander Barclay, 15th Battalion Royal Scots, killed in action 1 July 1916. Consists of a ribbon with text printed on it, a photo stuck to it, and a tassel. Text includes a poem and his family's address: 5 Reservoir Terrace, Peru Street, Salford. Comes with an envelope with black border and his name written on the outside.
In poor condition. As you can see from the photo, the ribbon is in several pieces and some bits may be missing.
Has been in my family for a long time but I haven't been able to find any connection with him.
Free delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 48. Will be sent in a C5 all-board envelope. Should fit through most letter boxes.
