Interesting year set in lovely condition with the first bimetallic 50 cents coin depicting the ship HMS Endeavour under sails. Based on the developed by the seller classification coin 5 cents was struck by die C (see details in the article N№5251 en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces5251.html of the Numista catalog). Coin 10 cents was struck by Rev. die B (see details in the article N№3523 en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3523.html of the Numista catalog). All New Zealand coins dated 1994 were minted in Llantrisant, none of them was released into circulation. Due to very small mintage (just 7000 pcs) the set became rarity.
