Original 10 inch x 8 inch Portrait of JANE DARWELL as Ma Joad in the 1940 John Ford Drama THE GRAPES OF WRATH, based on the novel by John Steinbeck.
Darwell is perhaps best-remembered for her poignant portrayal of the matriarch and leader of the Joad family in this film, for which she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
The portrait is in very good condition with her name written in ink in the bottom border.
