Hand-tinted real photographic postcard showing a view of the Grande Hotel da Beira at Beira in Mozambique, opened in 1954 and closed in 1974 due to a lack of customers. The hotel was used as a military base in the Mozambican Civil War, and it is currently home to over 3,500 squatters.
Published by Foto J. Nogueira, No 9, c.1960.
