Gorgeous Victorian sterling silver embossed trumpet vase by renowned William Comyns.

Fully hallmarked with the makers mark W.C for William Comyns & Sons, lion passant for sterling silver, leopard head for London and date letter 'P' for circa. 1890.

Measures approximately 21cm in height, 6cm across the top and 5cm to the base. Weighs a hefty 429 grams (heavily weighted base).

Stunning looking Victorian sterling silver embossed floral & scroll pattern trumpet vase by the very renowned William Comyns & Sons. A tall vase with a heavily weighted base for stability that after 130years still stands out with the beautifully crafted main body, with it's gorgeous floral & scroll embossed design. Has a couple of dents and a little tarnish spot to mention which can be seen in the photos which do not detract in any way from the beauty of the vase or it's functionality, holds water with no leaks.
